Thomas Hillman, Manager. Tom Hillman leads the Private Equity practice at Semaphore as co-director. He is a solutions oriented senior executive with extensive general management, new business development and growth company experience during 27 years in the Information Technology Industry and Private Equity world.  His experience encompasses all phases and functions of a business in a broad range of organizational environments from start-up to Fortune 500 public companies. He is an entrepreneur who has founded, sold and been involved in IPO’s for several companies in the US, Europe and the Asia-Pacific.  He has worked for several venture funds in portfolio management and operations. Tom contributes to Semaphore’s worldwide Technology Diligence practice providing technology advisory services for corporations, private equity, merger and acquisition, VC’s and Investment Banks with a focus on Operations, Sales, Marketing,  and re-structuring.  He holds a degree from St. Olaf College and studied at both the University of Minnesota and Illinois Institute of Technology graduate programs

Mark S. DiSalvo, Manager. Mr. DiSalvo is the President and CEO of Sema4 Inc., dba Semaphore, a leading global professional services provider of Private Equity and technology diligence services.  Recognized for his expertise in technology trend assessment and professional services management for more than 20 years, he has been a senior executive and entrepreneur at international companies such as Euromoney Institutional Investor, Whitney, and was founder of Hall, Berwick and DiSalvo. He has extensive experience in entrepreneurial management, Private Equity, technology assessment and emerging market strategy, particularly as to cross-border interests and development.  Mark was educated at the University of Massachusetts at Boston with graduate degrees in political studies and economics and earned the professional designation CPC. 

Asad Nomani, Controller. Mr. Nomani joined NYCIC in 1998 after five years as an accountant at Mid Bronx Senior Citizens Council, a nonprofit organization. He has over twenty years experience in accounting and finance and has an MSc in Accounting from Punjab University in Pakistan.
